Edwin Barritt.

1938 – 2018.

‘Art can help to clarify, articulate and reinforce belief about oneself in our world where the future is always uncertain and changing. Art may offer the consolation of a shared life and experience. It can celebrate vitality, beauty, delight, love and sexuality. It can also show and reconcile one to the inevitability of death, destruction and oblivion.’

Edwin Barritt, 2014.

This website is designed to showcase some of my Father’s finest works, and to widen his reach, yet further. Edwin considered his years as an artist as one of the most fulfilling periods of his life. I hope that they bring you pleasure too. If you choose to purchase a print or card, you will be expanding his legacy and sharing the love that he had for his art.

Julian Barritt, 2025.

(Edwin’s youngest son (and one of his biggest fans.))
